#GSA @ CIT General Assembly: An Introduction to Google Student Ambassadors Program and other Google Communities

GSA @ CIT General Assembly is the first zero-budget event of Jeffry Manhulad, the Google Student Ambassador from Liceo de Cagayan University. The event is centered on introducing the GSA Program--how to become one of the growing number of cool students around the world, and how to join other opportunities given by Google. It also introduces  other available Google communities such as the Google Developers Group - Cagayan de Oro (GDG-CDO), Google Business Group  - Cagayan de Oro (GBG-CDO), and Google Educators Group (GEG), and the new community of students at LDCU, the Google Students at Liceo de Cagayan University.

The event aims to spread the good news and opportunities in this program, and to let students know that Google cares for all of us whether we are students, developers, businessmen, educators or anyone who are passionate to learn about Google technologies.

During the event, the Google Students at LDCU awarded the top 4 early registrants of the newly created community of students, and were given swags provided by GBG-CDO. Top 1 registrant Hanthony Cyrey Tagam received Google Sunny and GBG notebooks, top 2 is Haroun Al-Rascid Sirad who received a GBG notebook and a GBG pen, top 3 is Jeson Martorillas who was not able to come to the event, top 4 is Alyanna Hontiveros who is not present also during the event. Another student who received swags is Carl Kenneth Galve, who is an active member and eager to join future events and opportunities at Google. In fact, he applied for Google AdCamp 2014, and is hoping to be accepted and go to Singapore this August, and is the only one from LDCU accepted to attend the Google I/O Extended at CleverSoft, Inc. last June 25-26, 2014 .

The swags given during the event is sponsored by GBG-CDO through their community manager Jon Doblados.
